Handcrafted in Cambridgeshire from 'Silkie' carpet fabricated from cotton and viscose (fibre from plant cellulose) and are therefore biodegradable in time. The material is woven especially for the Carpet Bag company and is very hard wearing and tactile verging on sensuous! The black cotton twill lining is best they can find and is used in all their bags (except Cosmo)
