Rina Shah graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology, New York and launched her design company Rinaldi in 1997 which has been growing ever since.
Rina has just opened her flagship store in Mumbai May 2009, her second store. She adopts a cruelty free philosophy which she has adapted in her designs and manufacturing of shoes and bags.
Rina Shah uses quality non-leather materials in her products and promotes her animal friendly products throughout India.
Rina lived for five years in New York and supplied many companies with her designs and at the same time ran her growing business in India. She has now returned to India, but still makes frequent trips back to New York.
Many of her designs are embellished with semi-precious stones, beads, sequins and swarovski crystals. ‘jewels for the feet’, is an eye catching collection with an award winning vote from Peta.
